An easy and fun way to make your interiors pop and come alive is to add plants. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, there are many ways to add greenery and foliage to your interior spaces. You can go as fancy or as simple as you’d like, asking your friends for cuttings or going to the nursery and buy new plants and putting them yourself. A fun thing to do is to go through your own cupboards and see what you have that you can use and that’s a good place to start. Clear flat containers are good for terrariums that can hold succulents.
Depending upon where you live, many neighborhoods have free plant exchanges. Check craigslist and local neighborhood blog for a list. Also, ask your friends and relatives if they have any plants that they wouldn’t mind sharing and you can take a few cuttings and start them in water. Once you get them going, you just need some potting soil and a container and nature will take care of everything!
